com.itextpdf.forms.fields Documentation Differences

This file contains all the changes in documentation in the package com.itextpdf.forms.fields as colored differences. Deletions are shown like this , and additions are shown like this.
If no deletions or additions are shown in an entry, the HTML tags will be what has changed. The new HTML tags are shown in the differences. If no documentation existed, and then some was added in a later version, this change is noted in the appropriate class pages of differences, but the change is not shown on this page. Only changes in existing text are shown here. Similarly, documentation which was inherited from another class or interface is not shown here.
Note that an HTML error in the new documentation may cause the display of other documentation changes to be presented incorrectly. For instance, failure to close a tag will cause all subsequent paragraphs to be displayed differently.

Class PdfFormAnnotation, PdfFormAnnotation setFormFieldElement(IFormField)

This method sets the model element associated with the current annotation and can be useful to take into account when drawing those properties that the annotation does not have. Note that annotation properties will take precedence, so such properties cannot be overridden by using this method (e.g. background, text color, etc.).

Also note that the model element won't be used for annotations for choice form field. @param element model element to set. set @return this PdfFormAnnotation .

Class PdfTextFormField, boolean isComb()

Meaningful only if the MaxLen entry is present in the text field dictionary and if the Multiline, Password, and FileSelect flags are clear. If true, the field is automatically divided into as many equally spaced positions, or combs, as the value of MaxLen, and the text is laid out into those combs. @return whether {@code or true} not if combing is enabled, {@code false} otherwise
