Creates a new GDEF reader.

Parameters:

rf - the raw source

tableLocation - the table location

Method Details

readTable

             public void readTable() throws IOException
            

Reads the GDEF table from OpenType data.

Throws:

IOException - if the OpenType data cannot be read

isSkip

             public boolean isSkip
             (int glyph, int flag)
            

Checks if lookup must ignore the specified glyph when processing glyph sequences.

Parameters:

glyph - glyph to check

flag - specifies processing options, e.g. whether to skip base glyphs, marks or ligatures during glyph substitution or positioning. See Lookup table

Returns:

true if the specified glyph should be skipped, false otherwise

getGlyphClassTable

             public OtfClass getGlyphClassTable()
            

Returns the glyph class table.
